Zandrovia To Be Located in The Isles
The places in which we choose to live should, in an ideal sense, reflect who and what we are as individuals and as a society. Thus, it is only natural that it has been a matter of great debate for some time as to where the homeland of Zandrovia should be located. After much deliberation and prayerful consideration, it has been decided that the future homeland for Zandrovia shall be located in The Isles, somewhere around Ireland and Scotland with possible colony communities to be considered elsewhere on a case by case basis.
There were numerous factors that played into this decision including the following:
In light of this decision and to better reflect the true spirit of Zandrovia, the Queen has commissioned a series of changes and upgrades to our national symbols and web site which will be revealed over the coming weeks, some of which are already underway. Additionally, by royal decree, a small plot of land has been purchased in Scotland to demonstrate our commitment to this region, to conservation of the natural world, and to finally put Zandrovia on the map to some small degree. Although somewhat symbolic in nature and aimed more at our commitment for conservation than anything else, this is still a joyous event for all of Zandrovia and the first step towards a more permanent homeland for her people and her faith. May God Be Willing, we shall soon find our home.

There were numerous factors that played into this decision including the following:
- Incorporating the positive cultural achievements in our past is a key component of Zandrovian philosophy; blood ties within the Royal family, the links of faith that connect our spiritual forbears in the Celtic Church with the Z’dek Faith, and Zandrovia’s affinity for Celtic culture and incorporation of some of its aspects all serve to make this choice of location an excellent match.
- The physical terrain of the area provides ideal opportunities for practicing and refining the sustainable agriculture and living techniques that are key to developing low-impact communities.
- These regions have maintained unspoiled lands ideally suited to our way of life.
- Since it is likely that we will need to reside in a hosting nation while building and development occurs, Ireland represents the ideals most closely associated with Zandrovia, including their prohibitions on abortion, the respect for the land and number of agricultural pursuits, and their expressed support of the value of stay at home mothers among others.
- The regions represents strong spiritual and natural ties that are best suited for the monastic communities of Zandrovia
- Additionally, there are a number of islands and estates that come up for sale from time to time that would be ideally suited to the needs of Zandrovia upon acquiring enough funds.
- Most importantly, as stated by the Queen, “This is where we have been called.”
