Wow... it's been a long time since I've logged on here.
I was just wondering if anyone else has been contacted by a company called ImproManagement, contracted to RDF to make a documentary for Channel Five on micronations?
They're supposed to be coming to interview me next week. I hope they don't make me come across as a nutjob.

With media appearances, it always helps to have rehearsed answers to some of the questions you know that you're likely to be asked, so you can deliver them off-the-cuff - smoothly, articulately and in an entirely unnutjob-like manner when the microphone or camera is pointed at you.
Your manner should also be pleasant, and your delivery smilingly approachable; there is nothing more guaranteed to make an individual look insane on TV than coming across as strident, humourless and unjustifiably pompous or self-important - irrespective of what the actual substance of their message may be.
Giving the appearance of being likeable and knowledgeable is a very large part of setting yourself up as a credible, rational interview subject.
Given the above it seems that another wave of media interest in micronations may be imminent; I was contacted early last week by a Melbourne-based director who is interested in attending Atlantium's upcoming 30th anniversary celebrations as part of a film exploring the evolving nature of personal identity and citizenship in the electronic age.
If it goes ahead, the project will be broadcast nationally on Australia's main government-owned TV network... and in my experience an instance of television coverage of this sort typically sets off an accompanying round of press interest.
Busy times!
