I am truly impressed!! Thank you a lot for these wonderful pictures. May we use them on our website, please? A sidenote for certain micronationalists who expressed certain doubts during last two years:
Dear you-know-who, I have now 1. seen various results of George's presence on the internet, 2. listened to his voice in a radio show, 3. exchanged e-mails with him, and 4. seen the pictures of him with a physical artefact of mine. As a consequence, I have no other option that to be convinced that George really exists. ;D Are you S U R E ? ...and yes, please feel free to make use of the above pics however you see fit. But how do we know that you really ARE you and not just an alpaca in disguise, hmmm?

You can find new pictures from Mulhouse (FR), Venezia, Firenze (I), and Vatican on flag.jirmania.org.

Our flag did not make it to the Great Wall of China but was spotted in Taiwan:

We have plans to send a Formori flag-carrier there too...
Where is this impressive military monument?

I'm currently in Canberra, and will be travelling through Goulburn on my way back to Sydney tomorrow. As a consequence, both the Jirmanian and Bokontonian flags will thereby be subjected to the singular embarassment of being displayed in the presence of the world's largest concrete sheep. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Darn, that's a place where I need to send one of our people with our flag. It's imperative!!!

We have literally dozens of "big things" here in Australia - among them pineapples, bananas, cattle, penguins, assorted crustacea, molluscs and arachnids, colonial personnages and a large assortment of prosaic objects such as miner's lanterns, wine casks and footwear. Building them has become something of an obsession for small towns desirous of attracting tourism. They are widely distributed in every state and territory of the Commonwealth. Most are unreservedly hideous. All are eminently deserving of micronation flag visitations. A comprehensive list can be found here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia's_big_things

While it is not officially a "big thing", an honourable mention should also go to the 19th century statue of Captain James Cook located at the northern end of Hyde Park, Sydney, near the intersection of Park and College Streets. The great navigator is depicted bearing a telescope in one hand. When viewed from ground level, east across College St, in the late afternoon, the statue's silhouette presents a rather (cough) arresting unintended profile, the details of which I will leave to the reader's imagination. For the less imaginative, this picture (which is actually a view from the south - and therefore does not show the full effect of the optical illusion) may give some small suggestion of that to which I refer...

According to Wikipedia's James Cook entry:

If George still has the flag, perhaps I could pick it up on my coming visit to Atlantium and take it to a couple of Lavalonian locations?

It will be hard to top an oversized concrete sheep with laser eyes... but perhaps Jason could try visiting the Big Ned Kelly in Glenrowan...

I was nearly two hours drive away before I realized I had forgotten to take the Jirmanian flag with me. Sorry Petr. No photos of the Jirmanian flag alongside the Lavalonian just yet.
