Google maps does seem to have issues with accuracy in remote and rural areas.
Some of the roads shown in the vicinity of Aurora either haven't existed for over a century, or else have been moderately re-routed.

There's my micronation - easy to miss - mainly because we don't really publicise exactly where we are... I'll email you the exact details of the locations. Great work on the map though!

You claim Balwyn North Primary School?!!
Weird.
Well, to quote a movie I like, "I don't make 'em up Gene, I just read ''em out".

As for the other coords you gave me, you guys are clearly minors, and there is no way I am putting what appear to be your home addresses on the net!
Sorry.

Latest updates include the exact location of the 40acre block owned by the Kingdom of Bahoudii. I don't think I'll be moving to their libertarian paradise any time soon...

...I don't think I'll be moving to their libertarian paradise any time soon... First, it's a little over 20 acres at the moment, not 40. Second, the government nor the people of Bahoudii advocate the political doctrine of free will, nor do we uphold the principles of individual liberty, be it in thought or action. We are definately NOT libertarian. The Kingdom is organized as a benovolent feudal monarchy. The government and populace support the policy of placing the good of the Kingdom as a whole over individual liberty. If libertarian personal freedom to do as you will no matter what, then Bahoudii will definately not "fit your pistol". Third, the "residence" is not "called" the consulate, it is the Kingdom Consulate. Once the relocation of the populace to the Kingdom territory is completed, the Consulate will remain as the Kingdom Consulate within the contenental U.S. In closing, thanks for the update ... we only ask that the facts be correct.

I have no intention towards ever including the extraterrestrial claims of any micronation in this mapping exercise.
As for terrestrial claims, I have to actually be able to find them on a map to add them. When this is achievable (GPS coords or street addresses), i will happily include Aerica's earthbound claims.

Perhaps you could just call it "Micronations Atlas" or "Map of Micronations"?

Is there any kind of specification for a micronation. I have a currency, flag, government, constitution, terittory and national holidays. Therefore is my micronation recognised. if not then how do i make it so?

Sir:
A question, please: for those nations that consider themselves “In diaspora,” what of their original or claimed homeland? I ask this, because, for now, TorHavn’s “area of interest” is ennumerated at the URL below:
http://;www.torhavn.org/faqbook.html#geo
As for our protectorate, Lykosha, the only specific claim comes with Clipperton Island, AKA (here it comes) “Wolf Island.” When it is listed, I can get a sighted citizen of TorHavn to check. We thank you.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Thus far I have tried to list the "headquarters" of any non territorial org, or failing that, an address at which the head of state can be contacted.
I haven't found anything at the link, is it still current?

Update on Guidelines: I will no longer be listing micronations that do not have an article in LOM wiki, or do not meet the noteworthy requirements of an article in Lomwiki.
That is to say, I am not listing every single one person "micronation" that exists only on the microwiki wikia.
Two reasons for this:
1. The "territory" claimed is almost always a home address. I am not compiling a list of the home addresses of teenage micronationalists.
2. I am not refusing to list these micronations all together. They just need to go out and do something noteworthy, exist for a couple of years perhaps, and then they will be included in future updates.
ALSO Give me GPS coords or a street address. I'm cleaning up entries that don't at least have this.
REMOVALS: Finismund - notability
WILL NOT BE ADDED AT THIS TIME: Democratic Republic of Cliff Island - stupid information, minor Republic of Wyke - Appears to be home address of a minor, not included. Empire of Eleytheria - insufficient information, minor Nation of YAN - insufficient information as to actual location. United Territories of Sky Haven - notability
Would love to add Lykosha, Torhavn. I'll have to spend more time tracking down coords for the bunch of older micronations that George has been digging up from the micropatriology files.

Jason, If you change www.torhavn.org to www.torhavn.net, you should get it ... I'm having problems redirecting GoDaddy's (.org) towards Yahoo's (.net) address. Sorry. For now, the model country "Kingdom of TorHavn" (a project still existing, for "role model" purposes, really) is still at the above mentioned location. If you need an actual GPS coordinate, I will contact a relative in Eureka, California, and get back to you. As for Lykosha, I'm not certain as to the coords of Wolf Island; bear in mind that the claim is symbolic, like much of her "national symbols." Hope this helps.

Could you add the upstarting Imperium of Mastonasia to this map? it is located in the U.S, specifically in Washington state, with the capital city at exactly 47°44'41.01"N and 122°19'09.56"W.

Maybe it means less-than-one-year-old (or less-than-one-week-old) and thus doesn't qualify.

Could you add The Commonwealth of Northern Australia?
"The territorial claim of Northern Australia consists of all the landmass west of 155 degrees east and east of 129 degrees east between the 9th and 26th parallels of southern latitude excluding territory claimed by Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. This area includes all of the former Australian Northern Territory and all of the former Australian State of Queensland, north of the 26th parallel of southern latitude."

We are officially on the map or should I say the globe, of course we only have a very tiny speck of land at this point, and mostly symbolic, although I doubt we are considered significant enough to be included. our coordinates are as follows: Lat 56.627614 Long -5.308909 It seems to keep kicking us in the middle of the street for some odd reason I have not quite figured out as of yet.
