The micronational world in its boom years had two notorious enfants terribles who were notoriously disruptive.
One of them was Matt Dabrowski, who I believe was involved in a number of micronations but was rather malicious. He also joined Talossa for a short time. After leaving micronationalism, he went on to become a Republican candidate in 2000 in local elections.
So did Christopher Thieme, who is arguably one of the most infamous micronational villains- and not merely for his conduct in the sphere of micronations. He was the prince of Alameigh, but his behaviour led to Alameigh's demise and his withdrawl from the micronational world, at least temporary- while also political candidacy in US local elections.
Thieme then resurfaced in another micronation (Hanover) under another name. However, in the last 5 years he has attracted notoriety for indiscretions outside micronationalism.

Another one I would add to that list was Thomas Hubert, not sure where he is now, but he caused more than the usual headaches for many nations, with his threats and abuse. There was also suspected links to hacking and spamming of forums, although these were never really proven.
One other who was more of a pain than anything else was Emperor Eric from the Solar Empire. Alteria, The Rasinate, Terra Firma and Empire of SNHicks all had dealings with him and so did the Organization of LOM.

Thieme then resurfaced [...] in the last 5 years he has attracted notoriety for indiscretions outside micronationalism. "Indiscretions" Such a polite euphemism for "beating his girlfriend senseless with a pool cue, fleeing the scene of the crime, violently resisting arrest, and being being thrown into gaol for a few years". That would be pretty hard for any but the most psychopathic micronationalist to top. In terms of somewhat less violent criminal enterprises associated with micronations, the multiple multimillion-dollar financial frauds perpetrated by Pedleys (and associates) from Melchizedek, over nearly 2 decades, is certainly up there with the best of them. The elder Pedley is even reputed to have faked his own death in Mexico to evade arrest by the FBI. The younger Pedley is apparently married to a Philippino woman named "Pearlasia"; if I were her, I'd hope that my parents would be prosecuted for crimes against nomenclature.

I don't know if Matt was really malicious. He was ambitious to a sick extend. He almost wreaked havoc during his short time as a prospective citizen in Penguinea (where he whipped up a secessionist movement for the foundation of "Penguinea Bissao" in no time, which then was a bubble that burst in no time). He tried to impress King Ben of Talossa by some stunts, one of these was this Penguinean rebellion, the other one the attempt to sell Reunion to Talossa. But, you know, he was a teenager who had to deal with serious troubles in his real life at this time, so that his "malicious" powerplay in micronationalism was just a form of escapism. As for Thieme, I seem to remember that he tried to contact me because of my macro-nationality, but I backed off because he appeared to be a rightwing blockhead gun fetishist. Maybe that hasn't been Thieme for real, I don't know.

You could add EnenKio to the list. But this is a pretty strange one. On one hand, it's a known cyber fraud. On the other hand it purports to represent a Marshallese tribal king's claim to Wake Island as part of their historic domain.

"Lazarus Long", aka Howard Turney from New Utopia is another libertarian fantasist with a history of brushes with the law - but in his case it was really more as a result of basic stupidity than outright criminal intent.

Both were citizens of Réunion. Dabrowski from Nov-1997 to Apr. 1998, took office as Chancellor and Lord Protector, after his "debut" in micronationalism as a Lectorian Citizen (where he hold the title Ambassador Royale). Thieme was twice in Réunion. For almost the entire year of 1998 he was an Imperial Counselour. I guess I am to blame (at least a bit) for their crazy ways LOL Yours, Claudio de Castro

Your Majesty,
I respectfully urge you not to take any responsibility for either of those two. I understand your humor very well but some might not.
