Languages: Currently, our language-English- is identical, but our indigenous 'slanguage' is different. Words are made up, mixed around or used in different meaning/context. Religions: completely different. Whilst the English religion is (mostly, don't quote me here) centered on Christianity, there is no religion that has any mixing with the governmental base, i.e not influencing it at all. That said, there is an unofficial religion practiced by some Bokontonians. Form of Govt: Completely different-as we like to think. Bokontonian Gov. is definitely a lot less bureaucratic -mostly due to size Political Community: Different Economy System: More centered on bartering, less bureaucratic etc.

To state the obvious: Talossa is much, much smaller than the USA (which is surrounding our mainland) and the EU (neighbour of Cezembre province). So small that they don't even notice that we exist - luckily, I'd say. This is making a difference.
