Greetings to All !!
Speaking outside-of-the-box............ ( a "bit off-the-wall" too....mind you )
Is there any foundation for micronational freedom for any micronation, whereby a certain health tragedy could be used as a strategy for the eventual realization of some degree of self-sovereignty ? ( i.e. "turn lemons into lemonade" by a community with a common cause )
In other words.....a micro-community of individuals who have a common illness and/or special-need ( such as aids, cancer, leprosy, etc ); of which, the majority of other people tend to overlook at times, or even *turn a blind eye to* so as to not have to become involved; whereby, those who may live a life of tragedy, could "turn the worm" and gain some degree of micronational independence. *( a "hands-off" attitude...out of a false-fear of contamination by association )*
Triumph via Tragedy: via default / forfiet / no contest...on the part of others who are not afflicted / affected / effected / infected with such common identification.
Regards to All !! ______________

Maybe I worded the topic ( my question ) wrong.......... ?........ Not so much as to whether or not such a micronation has, or does, exist, because to my knowledge as well, such an attempt by a group of "afflicted" has not yet been achieved or even been committed to; but more of a question, as to whether or not a micronation of the "afflicted" could ever rise to some degree of self-sovereignty. ( ? ) ( could "illness" be enough of an "insulator" to promote such ? ) ___________________________________________________

I think that micronations in general already face enough difficulties given the stubborn-ness and disconnection from reality that many of their founders embrace.
A micronation founded by a group of agoraphobics, schizophrenics or lepers would complicate matters by a factor of several thousand.
