Greetings to All !!
Not all, but most micronations have a State Song / National Anthem; which may or may not be able to be traced back to a "macro" root.
However, this topic is centered around the *infrastructures* associated with music in the Greater MicroSphere; and not so much about musical scores, notes, themes, etc.
With that being said.....and the same being kept in mind, do any of the member-states associated with this microforum fund, sponser, support an Official Orchestra, State Symphony, Opera, Band ( stage, marching, rock, etc ), or any other group dedicated to the performance of music and/or musical theatrical performances ?
The above listed infrastructures can be "micro" or "macro" based; which leaves open a wide variety of opportunity associated within the Greater MicroSphere's direct-connect to music infrastructures.

NOTE: Micro Performing Arts Infrastructures
Any ensemble can be included in this search for micro music infrastructures. ( i.e. jazz, choir, soloist: singer / musician, and even dancer(s), etc, etc, etc.... ) ____________________________________________________________________

Our population includes several amateur musicians (including a harpist), a professional drummer and a professionnal choreographer.
We have a working group on Formori music.

Longer-term plans for Aurora include the construction of a small amphitheatre designed to host music/theatre-based symposia.
At present we have no means of supporting performance-based cultural activities, and frankly, they're not high on the agenda..

Several of our Citizens -including me- are part of a choral group that collectively (there are 2 specialised choirs in the group) have been invited to sing at the National Music Festival almost every year, and go on tour to many countries such as Italy, Spain, Germany, France- and a few others that were before my time ;D I also joined them in singing at Montserrat Cathedral this year. Bokonton does provide also transport to and from each performance for some Citizens.

Some of you may be aware that I've been a music radio personality for over 2 decades... but that's got nothing to do with anything micronational: www.ultimathule.info

[/quote] That's the point of the working group. We've been working on our mythology, our language and our symbolism. Then we've been working on the instruments and on poetry. Now, from all this, the group is defining what is specific to Formori music and songs. This will probably be a set of rules that translate into a "Formori sound". I hope to have some results quite soon. It's a topic where I cannot intervene since I'm totally inefficient in such matters, that's why I have to wait. Very soon after that, I may have some mp3s to broadcast. Our musicians are productive.

Looking forward to hearing the "Formori Sound".
