Greetings to All !!
How many micronationalist of this microforum have ever served in a "macro" military service; either during a time of war or at peace time, and either on active duty or on reserve ? ( past or present )
Those who have served in a "macro" military, please state your branch of service ( army, navy, air force, etc ); as well as your unit / division name; as well as your rank upon ETS ( End Time Service ) and your MOS ( Military Occupation Skill i.e. infanty rifleman, cook, quartermaster, radar, etc, etc, etc ).

Thanks. Regards to All !! _____________ Bruno Cava from Pasárgada is a member of the Brazilian Air Force.... In Brazil it is mandatory to serve the armed forces for 1 year, BTW. I myself fled from this patriotic duty using the influence of my general-uncle. Not very noble of me, of course... Yours,

To my knowledge, Atlantium counts a number of current and former serving members of the miltaries of a number of states as citizens, including Australia, the USA, Egypt and Germany.

I made my 12-month time in the French army 22 years ago in a battletank unit that later served in the Gulf War.
Several others among the elder members of the community also had to spend 10 to 12 months in the French army before conscription was abolished in 1997.
AFAIK, we do not have any active military in the Community right now.
