While I don't pretend to know a great deal about the Louvre, or its architecture, NPR.org mentioned a short tidbit about the fact that the Pyramid outside the entrance of this palace-turned-museum is 20 years old today. Twenty years old? Is that possible? Apparently so. Another piece of trivia: the structure is (a) 3 stories tall, and (b) uses "aspen climbers" once monthly to clean the outside of graffiti. One can go to www.npr.org to see pictures relating to this news and trivia.
