Dear friends, amigos, freunde.
Do you agree that micronations should help each other?[/size]
If you do, I'd really appreciate it if you write several words in support of Wirtland on the "deletion discussion page":
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Wirtland.
Several days ago I was pleased to announce that Wirtland has entered English Wikipedia (
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wirtland). Now the article is under the threat of deletion. There is a person who wrote in the deletion page " I just cannot see anything in this article that shows why this micronation is notable". If 700 new citizens during less than year of Wirtlan'd existence is not notable, than they do not understand what a micronation is all about.
But I am not in position to argue, so I count on your support, colleagues.
Best wishes,
Cris

Greetings Cris !!
Personal Perspectives...........
To answer your question....in a word....."YES"; however, if you
are concerned about attacks against Wirtland, by the likes of
some sort of *micro-zero* from Wikipedia, then you are in for
a "bumpy-ride" within the Greater MicroSphere; as there are
those within the Wikipedia, who do nothing but edit and delete
anyone's works just for kicks-and-grins....which is why we here
in the Imperium have "absolute-zero" interest in any form of any
sort of Wikipedia.
In my opinion, the views, agendas, and information that you may
want to make public about Wirtland, would be better seen and
saved if presented on microforums and blogs such as this one;
whereby, no one is able to delete or edit your information, except
by an Admin or Moderator....and only then, if-and-when the info
would happen to violate any basic and mutual rules and respects.
I know that there are a great many who will challenge my views
towards Wikipedia, and it is everyone's right to accept or reject
any form of Wikipedia; however, from our own experience and
observation, a good many people fall into the same problem as
you have, with regards to the many immature and "self-serving"
individuals who delete and/or edit another's articles within the
Wikipedia.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Now......
Back to your original question....void of any association with the
reason you asked the question...........( i.e. Wikipedia )....
Yes, all micronations should help another micronation, especially
when asked for assistance, or whenever one sees that another
is in need...but may be too embarrassed to ask; however, here
again, egos sometimes tend to take charge, and dictate whether
or not assistance is forthcoming; as there are always those who
believe that they have all of the answers, but are either too afraid
to offer a helping-hand...out of fear of losing some imagined position
of power, or else would rather wait-and-watch....to see what others
will offer or do.
Sad but true.....but NOT in ALL cases; as there are many who will
assist another micronationalist / micronation; as those are the ones
who believe that whenever a micronation helps to better a fellow
member-state of the Greater MicroSphere, not only is that one
micronation elevated....the entire Greater Good of micronationalism
is lifted as well.
I hope that I have "helped" to answer your question and concerns.
Regards !!
