It's just a game; it doesn't even claim to be a 'micronation' (a name which covers a wide range of entities). What threats does it pose?

We've touched on this discussion before.
While I don't believe that social networking sites and multiplayer online gaming pose a threat to the ongoing existence of major micronations, I do contend that - in general - fewer people are likely to create new micronations today due to the fact that many of the social networking functions they encompass are better and more easily satisfied by MRPGs, Second Life and similar alternative diversions.
