errr... if I understand correctly, Jason (like Casimir) is blind, and is relying on a text-reader to interpret our forum messages.
As I understand it, messages that are not written in plain text - by, for example, using excessive/non-standard punctation or graphics - confuse the text-reader to the extent that it's impossible for the blind to follow our discussions.
Greetings George !!
His original attack was at my signature.....which I explained
my position on; then he seemed to expand his demands,
with regards to the manner and method in which I choose
to type / express by views.
His demands were an expression of censorship in a manner;
of which, he ( nor I, or anyone ) has a right to impose on another.
( I suggested that he follow his own advice....not read my posts )
What's next on his "hit-list"...
...maybe he won't like my avatar
too, or the topics that I present, or, or, or....etc, etc, etc...
I sympathize, and can fully understand anyone's physical and/or
mental limitations, as I too have a few of my own; however, the
rights of one can not be diminished because of the dislikes of
another...if there is no intended physical harm.
I, and others, have utilized the smilies, the bold, the italicize,
the font size, the font color many times, and it may be true that
some of these features may not be as compatible to some of the
viewers as the are to others; however, no one can be expected
to please everyone at all times....and as a consequence...at times
some people will be inconvenienced...some of the time.
I understand that reality....but it is not my burden / fault to bear.
Now....before anyone accuses me of attacking a "special needs"
individual...let's take a look at what I've been stating, and take
a long look at our own post; whereby, it is easy to see, that the
manner / method in which ANYONE so chooses to present his or
her messages....should not, must not, be censored due to the
personal wants and/or needs of another.
( vulgarity and the like, are the exceptions to the rule of course )
The rights and wants and needs of the many out-weigh the
rights and wants and needs of the few.
( in general terms....that's life in it's purest form....not my rule )
"To tie one's hands.....lessens the purpose and power of the pen."[/i]
Regards !!

P.S.
In other words: long story short............
If anyone can not read another's post due to physical limitations,
or refuses to read another's post due to personal standards; then,
such is that individual's problem, or that individual's right.
( i.e. one can not punish another, to satisfy the personal wants
and/or needs of yet another..."one wrong does not make a right" )
