2005 LOCATOR MAP OF MICRONATIONS WITHIN NORTH AMERICA ( The map was produced and provided by the Govt of Westartica )Greetings to All !! The map featured above can be found on one of the Imperium's Official Government Info-Photo Galleries; and was produced and provided by the Government of the Grand Duchy of Westartica, way-back in 2005. As one can readily tell, the featured map is way-way out-of-date, and does not represent the Greater MicroSphere; since it only features micronations within North America ( USA ), and some are now defunct, and others have emerged since the map was first introduced for reference almost 5 years ago. Which is the reason for my message:................. Which MicroGovt has the program and/or expertise / experience to draft an up-to-date version of the map above; but even go one step farther, and go "GLOBAL"...as in..."MicroGlobal", by featuring *ALL* micronations from around the globe !??! A new "Global" MicroMap would have the designer nation's signature attached, to show credit for the hard work; but would / could / should be given to the MicroSphere as a gift; thereby granting privileges of usage to those MicroGovts featured on the map, and only with the mutual understanding that any usage must be in good taste. Anyone have the necessary expertise / experience to do it ? Regards to All !! _____________

I did some cartography work with Independent Long Island... map.ilination.com...but with the UMMOA it would be almost impossible without a pro (11 insular possessions scattered over two seas...).

Time for a google maps mash up? George has shown himself proficient at such things... :-) Google Maps can be expoited to make wonderful maps of any kind. Even if you didn't use it in the final map, it would be very useful in the preliminary stages.... But to do some of the 'fancier' maps you might need some expertise (might). Speaking of which, I recently contacted a Google SketchUp modeller who is now in the process of creating two 'flagpole models' of various Bokontonian flags. Said designer has already 'Sketched' a great deal of Molossian architecture. My two cents....;D EDIT: ==Google SketchUp Models== Bokonton is in the process of literally 'putting themselves on the map' as they are having made certain models of their territory and flags to be rendered in Google SketchUp style so that they may be erected in the Google Earth application for all to see. ==Models== *The first model, the Bokontonian flag, can be found [http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=c6b8fc0bd511c9536795928523c07c66 here.] *The second model, a flagpole depicting the Mouls Island flag, is in the process of being created.
