By the way, no precise figures are available, but from the best figures I found I was able to extrapolate that the Independent Long Island (ILI) Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is somewhere slightly over $400 billion, which would make ILI's economy about the size of that of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
Not bad, considering ILI's population is about 7.6 million, while Taiwan's population is 23 million.
