PRESS RELEASE - The Senate of Lavalon has passed a law condemning the military junta of Burma. Under the newly passed Aung San Suu Kyi Act all members and representatives of the Burmese military junta are prevented from entering the Republic of Lavalon. Any person within the Republic of Lavalon who aids the military junta can be held criminally liable for their actions. Given the Republic's lack of territory, it is unlikely this measure will in any way affect the military regime in Burma, however the Republic of Lavalon feels it's appropriate to take as strong a stand as possible against the usurpers of democracy.
