To All Who May Be Concerned,
A miracle has happened on 25 September 2010. I have secured the good will of multiple and significant parties, who are open to agreeing to a Grand Treaty.
The Grand Treaty I speak of still hasn't been written, nor have I actually started to write it, because I've been busy with several things. What I do have are the basic ideas:
So at its most basic, the Grand Treaty will include:
Quite frankly, nothing like this has ever been written, nor will anything even close be written in the near future. The Grand Treaty will focus on both liberal and conservative principles, while the focus of most parties, and indeed most micronations, is either liberal or conservative in nature.
The purpose of the Grand Treaty also has nothing to do with creating leagues, federations, councils, or other types of intermicronational organisations. Such organisations, unfortunately, exist only to bring micronations together, and the quality of the membership is often not there either. Such organisations also, like the United Nations, are talk shops which don't even bother to deal with the real problems of this world.
The purpose of the Grand Treaty is thus to bring people together under a common vision, without sacrificing one iota of sovereignty, and this will enable us to begin to tackle the problems of this world, and will also enable us to attract support from a variety of different organisations, not just micronations: royal families, or simply great families; organisations of various kinds, and we will not exclude working with for profit companies with enough idealism either; nations and micronations, but we believe we may even be able to attract the attention of a few states as well, at least in the long term.
The initial four entities which have agreed at least in principle to this, and are willing to sign a good treaty with the values embodied above (this is all I ask for right now, since the Grand Treaty still has to be written), are already a practical demonstration about just how many different types of organisations we are willing to work with, and how many more we have the potential to attract:
1. The United Micronations Multi-Oceanic Archipelago (UMMOA), the entity I represent, a virtual and cybernetic fortress, as well as an archipelago recognised by an international organisation. Please note that the UMMOA is both a nation and an international organisation as well.
2. The Principality of Pontinha, a real fortress off the coast of the Portuguese island of Madeira.
3. The Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem (Knights of Malta), with diplomats in Malta, Italy, Romania, and Papua New Guinea, knights around the world, and with a seat (or headquarters/magistral palace) in Qawra, Malta.
4. His Royal Highness Don Ydenir Prudenciano Machado, Brazilian and Head of the Royal House of the Aramaeans and Hauranites (Casa Real dos Arameus e Auranitas in Portuguese), who is also the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Latin America of the Lutheran Church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
The idea that this quadrangle has the potential to attract many more significant parties is not just a great theory on my part either. In fact, the potential signatories are no longer four, and the list below under construction already shows that we are going where no men, or women, have gone before:
ummoa.net/grandtreaty.html
At this rate, with a little help and enthusiasm from your nation as well, help at least in spreading out the word, we might just make the United Nations obsolete in ten years! And yes, the list above is by no means complete, even at this early stage, since we are still gathering support from quite a surprising group of nations (I've got some help with my email-writing...), and I've even written to a European royal house.
I also believe that we will draw the attention of many more to this potential treaty in the next few weeks because the Cesidian Root, the alternative Internet we run which has an amazing amount of traffic already, will soon launch 22 new top-level domains (TLDs), and I believe this action may attract even more nations, even more signatories, if not significant media attention as well. Your nation's TLD may already in fact be on the introduction list, since we are including Fourth, Fifth, and even one Sixth World nation based on their significance, not based on one or more arbitrary factors, including my own personal likes or dislikes.
I hope all of this convinces you that this idea deserves your full attention and support, and that you will give at least your support in principle to a potential Grand Treaty.
Kind regards,

A miracle has happened on 25 September 2010. I have secured the good will of multiple and significant parties, who are open to agreeing to a Grand Treaty.
The Grand Treaty I speak of still hasn't been written, nor have I actually started to write it, because I've been busy with several things. What I do have are the basic ideas:
- Christian principles, but also principles of religious tolerance;
- Human rights, family rights, and the rights of the Creator (or Creators) of Man;
- The right of peoples and nations to self-determination;
- Ecological principles of nature, protective of natural biological diversity (but without the environmental fundamentalism which completely excludes real social and economic human needs);
- Principles of peace, brotherhood, and non-violence.
So at its most basic, the Grand Treaty will include:
- Religious truth and tolerance of religious truth;
- Individual, family, and even Divine rights;
- The national right to self-determination;
- Green principles with an emphasis on biological diversity and the triple bottom line; and...
- Peace and brotherhood among men.
Quite frankly, nothing like this has ever been written, nor will anything even close be written in the near future. The Grand Treaty will focus on both liberal and conservative principles, while the focus of most parties, and indeed most micronations, is either liberal or conservative in nature.
