One of the artists whose music I regularly broadcast on my radio show is a resident of Sendai.
Thankfully he reports that he and his family are safe, however there is some earthquake damage to his residence.
The scale of the devastation seems almost incomprehensible.

It is so sad a situation, that even the poorest man can feel a sense of pity. Thus the effort to gather some extra funds. And things seem to be getting worse instead of getting better.
