I've long been bemused by the micronational obsession with Joshua Norton.
While the assumption of grandiose, wildly implausible titularies is common practise among many younger micronationalists, I don't see how the life of a penniless, mentally-unhinged vagrant purporting to be the supreme ruler of the United States bears much resemblance to the modern conception of micronations.
Norton is not exactly an inspirational figure - unless you're perhaps aspiring to be a somewhat eccentric failure.
